The rally school is located between Swindon and Cirencester, approx. 20 minutes off Junction 15 of the M4 and approx. 25 minutes off Junction 11a of the M5. Click here for a location map.
GwynneSPEED Junior Rally Experience
The course starts with an assessment to establish what your level of driving experience is and then the course is tailor made around your own experience.
If your instructor establishes that you have adequate driving skills, they will let you gather some speed and they will teach you some rally techniques such as:
- Handbrake turns
- Oversteer
- Understeer
- Sliding
- The brake, steer, power technique
If you do not have any previous driving experience, you will be taught the basics such as:
- Clutch control
- Accelerator use
- Braking techniques
- Steering on a loose surface
You will have several sessions driving the rally car and once you have finished driving, your instructor will take you out for a White Knuckle Rally Passenger Ride to show you how the professionals do it!!

Restrictions: Min. height 4'11". Min. age 10 years, max. age 16 years. All participants must be accompanied by a spectating parent or guardian.
